EdenQuest 5.2

I wanted to document the arrival of our expected foals this spring, but as per usual, time has gotten the better of me. Time=laziness. In less than a month there will be the patter of 8 little hooves cavorting about the place. My regard for my “situation” involving my horses evolves on a daily basis, but I have come to the rationalization that trying to figure out who to breed to whom & whether or not to breed at all has become quite a thorn in my side. As in, it’s driving me mad. Beginning before the new year, I look over the eligible bachelors both old & new; scrutinizing pedigrees, show records, conformation & production results. I believe it’s harder for the discriminating small breeder such as myself because I don’t have the luxury to bring into this world a less than ‘perfect’ individual. & by perfect, I mean marketable. This horse industry is a fickle business & for the most part is an industry run on fads & fashion.

I do believe now that I have a plan in regard to my previously mentioned situation. But, first I must begin at the beginning & hopefully we’ll all be awake by the time I get around to “the plan.”
